Hi ... I updated tonight to Itunes 9 successfully and tried to update my 3g to v3.1 firmware. After more than an hour with the update running and showing no progress, I disconnected, rebooted the phone and tried to restore.
Restore has been running for more than an hour and again showing no progress. No error message .. just running and running and no progress showing on the phone.
Anyone else having the same problem. Seems to be taking a rediculous long time/ Any chance if I just let it run that it will complete.
