Mobilemail keep opening up after OS 3.0 ...

I need some help...
After I upgraded to OS 3.0 i have a problem with my mobile mail. Every time i open a new contact detail mobile mail activates in the background (I can see it because i have one of those memory freeing tools). When I shutdown mobilemail, again when I want to call someone, i select the contact details, the phone lags for a second (it is opening mobile mail) and voila...mobile mail is open again in the background.

Need I not say that although "push" is off every time i dial someone and mobilemail opens all mail messages are pulled to my iphone...

Please someone help...
