I have an iPhone 3G, and am sure there is no plastic film on the screen/button, but it appears as if the iPhone's home button has a lacquer/clear like paint/film coat, and part of it has chipped off. I have tried to chip, or peel further, and it won't. What is it, and what should I do about it, replace the whole button?
