Searchin and searching over and over ...

Hi,

My iPhone as the 3.0 OS version.
The operator indicator doesn't show the bars but only the "searching" message.
If I turn on the 3G mode, than after a few minutes It swaps to the 3G mode and It gains the bars at operator indicator.

I think this is a hardware problem, but I would like to know if anyone have the same problem and if he/she found the solution.
