Does anyone have this same issue?
I am running an 16Gb iPhone 3G with OS 3.1.2 and iTunes version 9.0.1.8 on Windows. The iPhone finishes the sync and when I go to the iPod app, it briefly displays "Updating Library", and then after a few seconds it displays "No Content". If you go to Settings, General, About it shows 0 Songs, and 0 Videos. The capacity doesn't change (still 4Gb free), so I know the songs and videos are there, they are just not showing up. Even iTunes still shows 9.90Gb of Audio.
I have iTunes setup to sync what's in one playlist. In the past, I was able to add one song to the playlist, sync, and then the songs show up in the iPod app. Now I cannot get that trick to work. And one would think new podcasts downloaded daily would help, but that doesn't work either. I have reset my iPhone back to factory defaults about two months ago to fix an ActiveSync issue, so it hasn't been that long since the phone had been "cleaned".
The "No Content" issue started out happening one a month, now it happens every time I sync. It is also frustrating that since it displays "No Content", you can't even click on More to manually download a podcast.
If anyone has some helpful information on how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.
