My iPhone is about a year old and I have all of sudden began having problems charging the phone on my home computer. When I hook the phone up the computer recognizes it and iTunes shows it on the left hand side of the screen. I am able to sync it with iTunes, but it will not charge. Usually when I go to unplug it the next morning it is completely dead. Is this possible or is the computer draining my battery for some reason?
I have tried 2 different cables and 2 different USB sockets. The only way I can get it to charge is with an AC charger or charge it at work on my laptop. All my other USB devices work fine on my home computer, including a external hard drive.
Any thoughts?
