Continued sync problems ...

I have had this problem for months now. Randomly, enough that I never know when it will happen, I try to sync my iPhone 3G with my PC and Outlook, and I get the message that my iPhone has been synced with another user account, and would I like to merge, replace, etc. I do NOT have any other user accounts, I have NEVER synced my phone with any other computer. Yes, I have reset sync history and replaced everything on the phone. I have rebooted the phone, turned the computer OFF and turned it back on, I have reloaded iTunes, I have done everything that Apple Support says to do, and STILL it randomly gives me the above message. I can sync the iTunes library with no problem, the apps too. Contacts have not been a problem. Occasionally it will say that there is no associated Notes app on phone, which is pretty funny, since it's a native app now. I am running the latest iTunes software, the latest iPhone software, the only third party app running in Outlook is the Apple add-on.

It is to the point, and has been for months, that I don't dare make an appt on my iPhone as I will most likely have to replace the calendar on the iPhone, so I am forced to only make appts in Outlook. VERY FRUSTRATING!! Does anyone have any solutions?
