I had an iPhone 3G that I used the Maps application on more than my Navigation system because it was faster and more accurate. However, I had to have my phone replaced because of problems, and I received another one from Apple. I am unsure if it is due to a software update, or the phone itself, but my Maps application does not work very well at all on this phone. It freezes frequently (start app and no pulsing dot, just a blue dot with a ring around it), the dot often does not follow my path, and when it does, it is often several blocks behind. My other 3G was not like this and it had the 3.0. My new one has the 3.1 OS. Any help available?
