Just plugged in my iphone to macbook like I do almost daily and nothing happened. I do have the 3.1 software unfortunately, though I haven't heard of this symptom, I have experienced the random "coma"3 times. But I've synced several times since 3.1 download. Phone doesn't even show up in itunes 9. iphone doesn't even recharge power through computer but still does through outlet adapter.
