just started having this problem spontaneously--3.1.2 update appeared to be successful and the phone was playing music fine yesterday. today, when i try to play tunes, it simply freezes the phone and requires a reboot.
tried plugging into itunes to see if i could correct the problem, but itunes just gives me "verifying iphone," no matter how long i leave it in.
anyone have success resolving these issues?
