Until recently (roughly a month or two ago) I could connect my iPhone 3G with the USB cable and open the iPhone via My Computer (Win XP) and copy the selected pictures I wanted to transfer off to my hard drive. Now what happens is that I perform the same procedure, but no photos transfer. There are no indications (errors, etc.) as to why nothing happens, the files just don't copy over. I hit refresh in My Computer and the same files are there, but no new ones. I can, however, get the photos to transfer if I change the default behavior of the iPhone in Windows to transfer all files upon connecting it (although this copies everything and isn't what I want to do.) Any ideas would be appreciated. I am on 3.1.2 but had this problem before installing this most recent software update also.
