My silent switch is broken on my 16GB 3G iPhone. Everything else is working fine(confirmed at the Genius Bar). My only options are to live with it or pay $199 for a new phone. Is there any way to silence my phone without use of the switch? If I go into sounds and turn down the volume it will get really quiet, but not completely silent. Any help would be appreciated.
