Well, my iPhone 3G has been giving me the wrong indication for battery life. Such as when it is dead (0% of battery life). I would plug it into the wall, and after a few seconds it jumps immediately to 50% or so. This really ticks me off because I do not know whether my phone is fully charged or not. Not only that but also when it's in use, sometimes when I reset it would give me a different % like from 80% after a hard reset to 33%. I've never dropped my iPhone before or anything. I've tried restoring it a few times but it's inevitable.
Does the firmware 3.1 fix this? Or is this iPhone faulty and I should go to the Genius Bar and get a replacement? I got this phone in February and it's still under warranty.
Hardware Specifications :
White iPhone 3G 16GB
Firmware 3.0
Tried :
Restoring
Recalibrating
Hard Resets
Any responses are appreciated.
